Playful Mishaps

Myra swam along the lake bottom in lazy circles. She didn't have a great amount of room since she was so large but it was a decent enough space that she wouldn't get exercise, something she was grateful for. As she made another loop, Sammy came darting by her, startling the Wailord. She blinked at the zooming white blur for a moment only to get even more startled when Jaiden swam by her at the same pace, clearly chasing Sammy. She watched them with wide eyes and a frown, it didn't seem like either one was angry, but it looked like they were playing around.

Sammy ended up darting up to the surface and leaped out of the water, hanging in the air high above thanks to his Levitate ability. Jaiden had followed him to the surface but instead of jumping into the air to follow the small fish, he gave the white one a grin then lifted his tail up out of the water and started to swirl it around quickly, causing air currents to collect. Sammy, out of curiosity, stayed where he was in the sky and waited to see what attack Jaiden was learning and throwing at him.

He didn't have to wait long as the currents gathered up and formed a Twister attack. When Jaiden was sure it was strong enough to stand on it's own, yet weak enough to not to any serious damage to Sammy or the area around them, he let it fly. Sammy laughed gleefully at the attack working then dived down towards the water so he wouldn't actually get caught up in it. Spinning around in the air would make a very dizzy Tynamo after all. He made it into the water just when Myra peeked out to see what was up with the boys.

What she found was a Twister to the face, startling her badly enough to Dive back down as quickly as she could. Jaiden dove back under to apologize to her and found her all the way at the bottom of the lake, her belly resting on it, with her eyes wide and wild. ~Sorry Myra, I didn't mean to hit you.~ He said gently when he was a good few feet away. She was larger then him and prone to getting scared easily so he was trying everything he could not to make things worse for her.

Myra turned her wide eyes to Jaiden and swished her tail slightly to raise up off the lake bed a couple feet. ~I-it's ok. You d-didn't mean to...~ She answered back, half repeating what he said to her since she was still feeling shocked. Sammy came to swam up beside Jaiden. ~Well at least you learned something out of it!~ He said cheerfully when it looked like she was slowly calming down from the shock. The Wailord blinked at him then gave a small smile. ~T-true enough.~ She said with a pleased note to her voice. She hadn't learned an attack since she had hatched.

Sammy swam around Jaiden in a spiral, glad that Myra had cheered up. Sometimes it was hard sharing the lake with the large female. Not because she took up so much room, but because at times he had to remember to tiptoe around her so she wouldn't get scared. None of his multiple friends had been like that so he didn't have a lot of experience dealing with anyone of her personality. He was thankful that Jaiden was used to it and he could follow the larger male's example when ever he was feeling lost.

Jaiden kept one eye on Sammy and one on Myra. Sure she seemed to be calming down but he knew it wouldn't take much to set her off again. Sammy didn't help at times since he was very playful and it was clear he was used to others with a more outgoing personality and the Gyarados was glad he was at least learning how to be calmer when he needed to be. It was a very slow process however. He swished his tail when Sammy made another spiral around him, almost playfully hitting the small white fish with his fin.

Myra pushed herself farther away from the lake bed when she realized she had started to sink back down a bit. She was a lot calmer now that she realized she hadn't been hurt, no one was angry with her, and she got a move out of the scare. All and all, it was worth it, though she would be happy to never, ever get into a situation like that again. She looked over at Sammy and Jaiden then gave them a calm, happy smile when she say Sammy was still having fun. She wasn't sure if it was a good thing or not that he still had all his energy.
